We are very fortunate to have acquired the services of Aydar Zabbarov as Provincial Fencing Coach.
We can now offer lessons in foil, epee and sabre to all levels of students in Durban (including complete beginners and children 10 or older).
Mr Zabbarov began fencing at age 10 and retired from competitive fencing when he was 28 years old.
In 1979 he was awarded the title "Master of Sport of the USSR".
He was Champion of Russia in 1985 and 1987 and Champion of USSR in Team event in 1987.
Mr Zabbarov worked as a fencing coach after his competitive days ended and was a coach in Kazan City for 6 years.
His search, and relocation here, for better weather is an incredible bonus for Durban.
